ABOUT ME

I'm delighted that you've stopped by! My name is Jennifer Murphy and I'm the owner of Jennifer Jean Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Turning my passion of photography into a profession is a true blessing and I would be honored to get to know you and share in my joy and art of photography. My photography style is a blend of capturing authentic moments and connections with classic portraiture. During my outdoor sessions, we will explore, play, dance, and find creative ways to show your authentic selves. I cherish blending nature into our sessions, creating moments that beautifully intertwine with the beauty of the outdoors. I strive for the sessions to be relaxed, fun, and organic and for my clients to walk-away with photographs and memories to cherish for a lifetime.

I'm originally from Texas, but have lived in Colorado for almost 20 years. I love all that the Colorado outdoors offers, but I do miss good Tex Mex food. (I can eat chips and salsa at every meal) I am married to an incredible man who keeps me grounded and we have two active boys that keep us on our toes. Many a time, they are my photography muses.

In addition to my passion of photography, I love camping, backpacking, skiing, running, gardening, and vintage thrifting. This year I'm giving sourdough bread-making a try, so please send over any tips! Along my way, my family, my faith, travels, and friendships are the main facets that have formed me into who I am today and I don't take that for granted.

Photography has always been my passion and has allowed me to capture all of the invaluable memories, chapters, seasons, and milestones of my life, and I would be honored to capture a memory of your life.
